Formed in 2003 Igloo Post is a boutique full service high end Post Production House for HD Online Editing, Grading, Motion Graphics, Design, Animation and Finishing for Broadcast, Online & Theatrical programmes. We are very proud of our past results and extremely focused on our future.
Our central London based office incorporates the latest industry leading Quantel toolset for colour grading and finishing. As well as catering for HDcam, DigiBeta, uncompressed or ProRes Quicktimes and Final Cut Pro projects, we are pleased to offer full support of image file formats such as F65RAW, RED HDrX, ARRIRAW & PhantomCINE among others.
We have recently handled the Post Production requirements for over 25 hours of HD documentary films for our sister company Earth Touch. These award winning Documentaries have been broadcast globally by channels such as National Geographic, UKTV, Canal+ and Smithsonian. Being based within our sibling company The Works Film Media Group, we have worked on many Feature Film Trailers, internal projects and DCP deliveries. We handle projects for non-relatives too, be it commercials for Advertising Agencies or full productions for our ever growing group of corporate clients…Variety is the spice of life!
MD Brian Ainsworth has almost 30 years of experience inside the industry, initially starting as a motorcycle runner for Hibbert Ralph Animation. He worked his way off of the motorbike and into the edit suite. Eventually he joined Animated Opticals where he learnt 35mm aerial image film opticals and Negative cutting. When the Digital revolution hit, Animops moved inside FrameStore. Brian turned down two head hunting offers from FrameStore and eventually left Animops to form Igloo Post with Costa Theo.
